"Cheap" is fine if you are starting the fight, but to save life, in an emergency, to end the fight when the fight comes to you, unexpectedly, get what's reliable and hard hitting.

In a semi-auto, you may need to pay more for reliability and durability from a well reputable maker:

S&W Sigma
Taurus (45 ACP) 1911
Ruger 345

Sig 220 new $1000.....What pistol has a better reliability reputation?
