Your seating die can be adjusted up and down independently of the bullet seating stem. Back the die out of the press about 1/4 (or even a 1/2) turn. This will back your crimp way off.

I didn't even think about that. It makes perfect sense. I will try doing this tomorrow and see if I can make it work. Combining this with Clay's suggestion about building a dummy, I think I can make this work!
