The only inherent problem the I have found with the clones is the loose slides. Since the trigger mechanism runs through the slide, the accuracy has got its limits. But in most cases that accuracy is beyond the shooter. For about $100 you can get a Cylinder&Slide hammer and shear, a key mechanism to better the trigger. With those two items the gun will embarrass your friends with HP's. You are lucky if have found a FP9, untapered slide, they are a bit heavier than the Browning & FN's, making recoil a bit more manageable with hot loads.
