I really didn't mean it like 'only 300yds' like its nothing. My neighbor and I have been having friendly competitions at 300yds, I use my 308 and he uses his 30-06, winning is no easy task. But, with the 50bmg, 300 really isn't that difficult of a shot, especially prone off the bipod at an 18in disc.

Btw, this thread was from last winter she's now my wife. And she does have a sister, not an 'anti' but not into guns or hunting at all
