A good friend of mine is a pistol/carbine instructor and custom rifle builder. He recently did a four day torture test and the Sport passed with flying colors. I have put a few thousand rounds through his Sport and no issues. I own one of the standard M&P15's but would now recommend the Sport to anyone looking for a budget AR.
