One of the problems with the screw on type is that if you are at a range when a cease fire is called, the action has to be open and empty and or a flag in the chamber.
What I found worked well was the Velcro starp on type. Not 100% as they can loose an occasional case through the edges and sometime hot cartridge will melt the plastic (not suppose to but) , but overall works pretty well.
Also easy and quick to put on and pull off for the cease fires.
Take a bit of working with it to get tight and figure out how it snugs up best
