I like both of my Nikons. I have a buckmaster 3-9X 40mm on a bolt rifle, and a Monarch African 1-4X 20mm on an AR-15.
I am completely satisfied with both.

No manufacturer or distributor would ever agree to "...admit that they made an inferior product..." That is like asking a business to commit suicide. It's not realistic.
