Over the years, I've used mostly CCI, with some Winchester and a few Federal sprinkled in. I've never tried Remington, but I would be happy to if the price were the best.
Where I'm not sure yet is whether I'd buy Wolf or some other new or unproven brand to save a little dough. I only ever buy primers a thousand or more at a time, and that would be a large number if it turned out something other than the "big four" were crappy. IMO, a bad primer is a big, BIG problem. Not because I rely on handloads to stop crack-crazed felons or Grizzly bears who think I'm a pic-a-nic basket, but because pulling assembled rounds to break down ammo with bad primers is a major PITA.
I've heard of Alcan primers, but I believe they are from days long gone by. Likely still good if they were stored properly, but I don't think you'll see many of them for sale.
