Should you look for a faster burning rate powder with a short barrel , lets say 20". Slower burning rate with a 26" barrel. The Remington 700P I'm looking at has a 1/12 twist 26" brl. will only be using for target shooting 300 yards max. No hot loads, I reload, so I'm looking for a good bullet & powder for this rifle. I know they come with a faster twist, but this rifle I can get at a good price. Used once with a leupoled scope $ 700. Looks brand new.
