I noticed when I first started acquiring firearms a few years back people seemed to trade and exchange guns a lot more than they do now. I’m not sure if it is fear of regulation or what, but people just seem to hold on to guns more so than before. Also, I suspect more guns get destroyed than they did in the past either by apprehensive owners who “turn them in” or guns used in illegal activity.
