If price of ammo is not an issue, I'd say go for the G27. I had one and the felt recoil to me was less than the full sized G22. The dual recoil spring all but eliminated the recoil for me.

No offense intended, but I find that very hard to believe. My G22RTF2 has WAY less recoil than the G27 I used to own. Not even close.
