I have no specific information, but I can tell you that in general, the Millett scopes I have work well and are a good value. I do have a Simmons fixed 4 power handgun scope on a 6" Dan Wesson .357, and I'd prefer to have a 2 or 3 power than this one, so I think you're on the right track as far as magnification.
