char923's on the money, especially since you're shooting a .38 cal

Not to worry. For whatever reason, the .38's are really .358 nominal diameter.

If you want to go for that extra li'l bit of accuracy using casts bullets, you can slug your bore/cylinder & size your bullets to +.001" over-sized.
