For me, thickness and weight are more important considerations for pocket carry than height and length. Not many 9mms that come in at less than 1" and under a pound loaded. Ruger LX9 and Kel-Tec PF-9 are a couple options. I have a Kel-Tec P11, and it is just too heavy and bulky for pocket carry, but I carry it IWB.
