If you intend to try to make an SKS shoot better than it was intended I think you would be much better off with a M1 Garand. I didn't buy mine to make it shoot better, I could care less if it shoot's MOA or not. I have PRC rifles that I demand a lot of, the SKS is just for fun and it's curiosity factor. I changed the stock and set it up for using 20 round mags just because I like the transformation. It doesn't damage the rifle or make it non-returnable to stock.
