I'm using it for 38 spl. and 45 ACP.
38spl./3.7 grns/158 grn LSW to start.
Alliant site lists a 357 load for it but no 38 spl.
I have found that AS is all I need for my shotgun and pistol loads. It's available because most don't consider it a good pistol powder, but it is. Finding a common pistol powder is impossible now so just switch to a shotgun powder which is why I have lots of it around. Clays will also work.
