FWIW I load my .45 Colt hunting loads as I would my BPCR loads and run the boolits thru my Lyman to lube and size them. If I hunted with a .44 mag or .454 I'd likely do the same. If LLA isn't up to the pressures of your hunting loads I'd try SPG or a harder lube in a lubricating sizer. For normal pistol boolits, especially with high volume production, I think LLA is pretty tough to beat for an off-the-shelf lube.
