I guess so...But I don't like messing with the original mechanism of a guns functionability, especially if it's purchased for the intended use of CCW. I know this is the OP's first handgun, which I think is more reason not to...But I guess you are right. If it can be returned to factory with just an hour..That's up to the OP if he wants to do so.

I agree if he has bought it for CCW leave it alone its a service pistol with a service trigger. Mine is for the range if I bought it for CCW I would have left it SA/DA.
