Statistics can give you a headache if used too often. I agree on the use of the word "correlation" as a shortening of "Correlation Coefficient". I'll just stick to Kernal correction.

Another often misunderstood concept is accuracy versus precision. Gunwriters typically refer to a firearm that shoots small groups as "accurate" when in fact it is precise. Accuracy is hitting what you aim at, precision is how closely your hits are to one another.

Those biostatistic courses I took come in handy for shooting too.
