I had considered the 375 flanged, but like with the other cartridges mentioned, brass was the main drawback. I can get once-fired 375 H&H brass for right around a dollar a round locally, whereas the flanged brass is over 3 dollars a round at best. The other ones don't have available brass at all. I did originally consider 9.5x54r, but the complete lack of support for it stateside ruined that. One of the attractions of 375 H&H is that I know of 4 places locally that carry it. While I plan to reload, I do really like having guns that I can buy factory ammo for locally.
I will look into the Chatfield-taylor, but I suspect ammo or brass for it is going to be similar or worse than the 375 Flanged situation.
