Sig Sauer Academy for gunsmithing?

I've recently learned that Sig offers 1911 Armorer's courses. The Sig version is a one-day class and the cost is reasonable. I sort of know my way around 1911s -- I've built maybe ten of them, but all of a "utilitarian" nature rather than top shelf, custom firearms. But I'm always hoping to learn more about making the 1911 run well and reliably. The Sig course is an armorer's course, it's not about building a custom gun.

Does anyone have any knowledge about or personal experience with the Sig 1911 Armorer's course? If so, what's your opinion? Is it worth taking?

Please only respond if you know about the 1911 class. I know Sig Academy has a good reputation in general, but I also know that Sig screwed up royally when they started manufacturing 1911s, so I really need to know if their 1911 class is the real deal, or if it's going to convey a bunch of misinformation.
