Some hand primers will give you more mechanical advantage, but variability in primer pockets is substantial, IME. If I feel a primer being hard to seat, I run the brass through my Dillon swager for military crimps. It opens them to a more uniform size and gets rid of the tight crimp issue in most instances.
Slower, but also effective is the primer pocket profile cutter for the Wilson trimmer. Everything slips smoothly into primer pockets it has kissed.
