Two tears ago during an "Action" shotgun match, I had to fire 2 slugs through a port at an IPSC target that was in a "window" surrounded by a plywood wall. The port limited your traverse and elevation so that you either hit the target or the plywood wall. When my target was scored there was only 1 hole in the "A" zone. No one could explain it, but it was decided that I had missed the whole thing on one of my shots, and it was scored that way. I find it hard to believe they went through the same hole, but I KNOW I did not miss the target and the wall!
