Mfox--These guys are all TALKING SENSE, Mfox! Heed them. There are old reloaders, and bold reloaders, but there are no old, bold reloaders.

Whenever you change anything in yr recipie, back down to the starting weight of powder and work up again carefully.

918v has it most technically accurate. By experimentation, you may find a primer whose resultant pressure curve fits yr gun and yr load noticeably better than any other, in terms of velocity and accuracy. That would be the primer to use. It's called "tuning a load to the gun," and it is one of the major reasons some reloaders reload.
