With the shorter barrel length, how do the various rounds deliver downrange/ballistically? There is a lot of powder behind a .357 vs .38 vs .380 but with the shorter barrel does that powder get to make the difference it could? I understand the bullet weight/length factors in there too, so where does that happy medium lie? This is kind of a bang for your buck question only I have to figure with the. 357 in a snub nose you get a whole lot of bang for your buck

Just maybe not the best overall performance downrange given the reduced barrel length.

I'd appreciate your insight.
