I'm going to be in the market for a .40 as well, I currently don't own one but I feel I should get one at my next available opportunity, just to have the ability to consume .40 S&W ammunition.
The reason I haven't got one at this point was ammunition cost, I currently have 1000 9mm SD rounds and 1000 45 ACP SD rounds stored.
