Smith and Wesson 5906

A lot of these are being traded in by police departments going to the M+P. If you look careful enough you can find one in the $250 range, and in good shape. These retailed for over $600 about ten years ago and were carried by many departments. I had the .40 version until Saturday and would have kept it if not for the heavy trigger (10lbs I think). That is not all bad for a concealed carry DA though, as it lowers the probability of a negligent discharge. If you shoot it often enough, you don't even notice it. After 300 rounds or so I could tell anymore. We also used the 5906 at my police academy, it truly is a good weapon.
