Just purchased a used Model 66-5 with a 6" barrel. 357 Mag.

Serial # is CDW8XXX

Can someone let me know its year?

My first S&W, first revolver. I am very pleased with it. I took it to the range last weekend--First time with 38 Sp ammo--had a ton of fun, and I didn't shoot it half badly, either!
