If you're using an FFL local to you, be sure you understand what fees, if any, he may charge you for handling the transfer. For some shops, if you can buy the same gun from them (i.e. a current production model) they may charge you a fee or higher fee to make buying from them a better deal. Just be sure you understand all the fees.
