Practical field accuracy with Remington LEO Managed Recoil slugs is about 10" at 110 yards(100 meters) for any number of shots in my Robar 870 with a IC choke. My Benelli Tactical shaves this a bit , my other guns aren't as good. I have used sabots in a Hastings rifled barrel in a Rem 1100 which would group 4-5" at 100yards - OFF A BENCHREST. Since I don't deer hunt with a shot gun, 1oz flat nosed lead at 1200fps is plenty enough for me with 2" groups at 25 yards and less than 10" groups at 100yards. Rottweil Breneke slugs are about as accurate in the Robar 870- but are brutal recoil wise for extended firing-good for Bear and trucks though!
