Absolutely not. I am saying that having a CWP extends your coverage to include anywhere you can legally carry. Without a license you are covered in your home, and I believe in your car if you follow the storage rules, but if you carry on the street without a license then you are not legal....so I would assume that is not a good situation to claim the self protection part of the law.
