I bought one abound 2008 or so. Accuracy was okay (2-3 MOA in my hands) but reliability was top-notch. It ate and shot *everything*. I traded it away mainly because it was too fun to shoot and with .308 prices as they are I was going poor shooting it.
If you plan to scope it I recommend getting a Cherokee cheekpiece as the scope will have to sit high to clear the rear sight. I found the Cherokee piece to be more comfortable and cheaper than something like the Magpul PRS stock (also faster to adjust between scope and irons).
Oh yeah, mine was an 18"er with an untapered barrel. It was very comfy to shoot.
