Every mag I've ever had with any of the BDAs or 84s I've owned or shot appeared to be a Meg Gar mag. I've seen plenty of these over the last 33 years or so, and never seen this before. My 84 came with a used mag that has no "thin" metal above the cutout. Neither do the other 3 mags I bought, 2 new and one very used one. Weird.
