My First Dummy Rounds...Oops! Then Success!

On the left...my very first dummy round...yeah that didn't work so well. On the right the seating die properly adjusted to a length of 1.105". Thanks Peetza for the tips on final seating adjustment.

Question though, on both cases the sizing die, scraped an extremely fine(think gold leaf) bit of brass from the case, in the same relative position on both cases. What is the solution to this or is this a problem? (Doesn't seem like it should be happening). The dies seem to be aligned properly as nothing unusual seems to happen during the other steps.
