I got my Smith 60 a buddy (Marlin 1894C) about a year ago. Out of that 18" barrel, a Winchester 145gr Silvertip is going at ~1800FPS hits an old milk jug filled with water, it just plain explodes.

I know there are some who don't like the idea of using a handgun cartridge in a rifle, but I don't buy into that. It's a great combination.
