I knew you would miss the point when I posted and that is OK.
And then there is the thing with 2,500 watts
that has got be in the neighborhood of 22 + a few amps, I have a carbon torch that is variable that does not consume that much electricity on maximum and it takes no time to puddle metal. I can wave it over a steak, the difference between very rare and burnt is 1 second
