check the barrel/forcing cone for cracks at the 6-O'clock postion....it's not that uncommon for them to break.
they are more a .38spl that can shoot .357's, than a .357.
i have a 13-1, like the hell out of it, but feed it more 38's than anything....the "L" and "N" frames are the better 357's.
