Id look at a simple Bianchi UM84R holster. It can be purchased in OD, black or woodland camo.
I got a new UM84R holster for my Ruger GPNY .38spl 4". I used it often on security details.
The holster is based on the proven, popular M12 Bianchi military holster that's been in regular use since the mid-1980s. The UM84R can fit field belts or regular belts(any width up to 2.25"). It can be used with a flap or open style. You can wear it strong or cross draw. The milspec nylon is easy to clean & can hold up to field use/elements.
The holster fits most DA revolvers with 4" barrels.
