I have the exact same set up for deer, except the scope is not a Leupold. My barrel likes Rem Copper Solids in the 2 3/4 length. I tried 4 different kinds of sabots when I set the gun up and the Remingtons kept about 3" groups for me at 100 yards. I sighted in at 75yards and was good to go out to about 130 yards. Lead slugs work OK through the gun, but the sabot slugs were designed for a rifled barrel. Lead slugs also require lots of cleaning to get the lead out of the rifling.

Get an assortment of sabots, I know they are expensive, but find which works the best and stock up on that lot #. Do buy other ammo and practice as well, another smoothbore barrel would be great for practice.
