I am a newly certified Law Enforcement Armorer and I have a friend who has brought me his Saiga 12 ga. shotgun and has asked me to do something I am not sure that I can do. He say's that you can move the trigger guard and trigger group forward on the gun so that a different stock can be put on the gun. My Questions are first, can this actually be done? If so, is this something that a armorer can do or should it be taken to a gunsmith? Secondly, if I can do this what if any special tools would be needed and what is the procedure for doing the job.
