Went to the range today and tried out some midrange 44mag in the 8in. Dan Wesson, 10.7 gr Unique over 215gr SWC. Pretty moderate load but fun.
Also fired some 45 200gr SWC using 5gr. Bullseye, OAL 1.255 that shot very well in the Glock21 and Colt Compact45. When I use an OAL of 1.225 it does not feed reliably as the lead step is seated right to the edge of the brass. Good fun.
