My opinion basically sums up the rest of the comments. Your options are:

1) Buy a Model 60 and start shooting nice groups out of the box.

2) Buy a 10/22 and then buy a bunch of adds on for it to get it to shoot like a Model 60. But it does have a detachable mag.

Not knocking the 10/22, they're fine rifles and I love that you can buy any part that can be imagined for one. The fact of the matter is that a Marlin 60 is cheaper to begin with and does not require any additional cash thrown at it to get similar accuracy.
