My Elsie wears one now. I'm not a fan of lasers, but thought for the money I'd give it a try. the first one was defective, and after only a few shots the dot turned into a large rectangle. The company was very good about replacing it free of charge, and sent a dozen batteries with the replacement for my trouble.
The sun was too bright to get a real good idea of how well it worked when I went to the range, but with adding a little shade over my target @ 10 yards it was good enough to see that it didn't need any adjustment.
One bit of advise though. Make sure the tiny screws on the battery cover are tight, and check them often. The ones on mine came loose, and when they do the laser doesn't work. Don't over tighten them, but check them often.
