Since you specifically mentioned wanting to add a laser and that this would be a concealed carry gun, I would recommend the Smith & Wesson M&P. Crimson Trace offers a grip laser that replaces the backstrap for a nicely integrated laser sight. There are other options for lasers, but I have not liked any of them for CC.

Now if you are not dead set on adding a laser, my recommendation is to see if there is a gun shop in your area that offers rentals. Test firing your short list will give you a MUCH better idea of what grip styles, weights, and sizes work well for your hands. My short list for a CC handgun would be the Springfield XD/XDm, Walther PPQ (classic), Glock 19, and Smith & Wesson M&P for moderate sized weapons, Walther PPS, M&P Shield, and Glock 26 for sub-compact. YMMV.
