Addicted to Smith and Wesson?

I just realized that I have a Smith and Wesson problem. For many years I had only one handgun, a 686, since I bought it in 1990. Last year I decided to get my carry permit and needed to get something smaller and since I already had a S&W, I started looking there. Once I got my Shield 9mm I thought that a full size 9mm would make a good HD gun and since I already had two S&W's and liked them I'd start there. After buying my M&P Pro 9mm I decided to introduce shooting to my daughter so I needed a 22 and since I already had three S&W's...well, you get the point. Oh, and I just bought an old Model 10 from Bud's because well, I already have 4 S&W's and liked them so much and wanted another 38 revolver to play with. I have a plan for my next pistol to be a 45 and I've been checking out the Sig P220 but I do sure like the S&W 1911s.

I do have Winchester and Springfield rifles so I not completely weird, right?

So, is it unusual to be loyal to one brand in the firearms world or do I really need to branch out and see what else is out there?
