dpoguer, you want to consider "splitting the difference". For the price you would pay for a 612V you could purchase a used Mossberg 500, a decnet used revolver
and some ammo for practice/training.
Other wise if you would prefer to stick to your two original choices in shotguns pick the one that "feels right" to
you. Preferably go to a shop that has one of each in stock and shoulder them.
