Heck, I feel kinda weird. For skeet I use my old Stevens 311. The barrels are too short, the chokes are too tight and it doesn't technically "fit me" being a bit short in the pull. But I've over looked those things for about 25 years now, I don't see any reason to stop now. Use it for sporting clays too.
And since it was brought up, I use a recently aquired 870 for trap, for soem reason I shoot it alot better than the SXS in trap, but I haven't tried doubles yet.
And since this was also brought up (boy this thread got to chasing alot of rabbits), I stared shooting the clay games alittle over a year ago and I've found nothing but a bunch of great guys who went out of their way to help out a newby. Made soem great friends and learned alot (tho apparently not enough to ditch this SXS).
