Nice Rifle! Suggest you check your trigger adjusting screws, however; be sure the lock screw holding trigger adj. screw in safety is tight. My BP trigger adj. screw came loose after a hundred or so rounds resulting in a very loooong, creepy single stage trigger. You could not feel it hit the second stage. I tried repeatedly, following instructions that came w/rifle, to re-adjust and never did get it right........close, but not like it came from factory. Finally gave up and put a Timney drop in single stage 3#.
Works great now, though.
