My Ruger Blackhawk Convertible .357 is sitting loaded in my nightstand right now.
I purchased it for self defense, but I don't actually carry it anymore unless I'm hiking in the back-country. I don't hike with any less than .357 anymore.
I now carry a smaller piece, Kel Tec P11 is in my jacket pocket as I type.
