That's another option and one that I've considered, but I don't think I'd want to drill holes in my wooden stocks. However, I've got a couple of synthetic stocks that might get that treatment.
Savage uses the Karsten on their
Long Range Hunter rifles. I like the simplicity and folks I've talked to like them, but I'd hate to drill holes in my wood stocks.
